Position Summary

Under general supervision, coordinates the donor lounge activities of Popejoy Hall during performances. Duties focus specifically on Popejoy’s two donor lounges prior to performances and during intermission. Supervises volunteer servers/greeters and provides professional customer service to Popejoy patrons, visiting performers, staff and crew. Prepares reports on each performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assigns and supervises volunteer greeters and servers; coordinates activities with stage crew and house management, security personnel, and the box office, as appropriate.
2. Opens doors, turns on lights, and monitors facilities for cleanliness.
3. Coordinates set-up and clean-up of food and beverage service including the adherence of food handling guidelines.
4. Assigns volunteer locations and duties; delivers pre-show briefing detailing specifics of the day’s event.
5. May supervise performance meet and greet activities.
6. Responsible for professional customer service delivery to patrons, staff, and visiting performers.
7. Coordinates lounge evacuations during emergencies in collaboration with house management.
8. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
    • Extensive customer service experience
    • Experience working in fundraising or VIP events
