UNM’s Facilities Management has a new and exciting opportunity for an Auto Tech. This is a great entry-level opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a professional manner. The Auto Tech is responsible for performing and/or assisting in the performance of a variety of routine to moderately complex maintenance and repairs on university automobiles, trucks, and related heavy mechanical equipment. Typically works in a motor pool environment and may be required to occasionally work outside.
Facilities Management is responsible for the care and upkeep of the physical campus environment. Additionally, the department maintains the University’s district energy system providing electricity, steam, chilled water and domestic water through its own distribution systems.
