Location: Rev Hugh Cooper Admin Center

 

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN completion within 5 years of hire)

*Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO)

 

Credentials: Registered Nurse - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit required. BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

*CDS Outpatient
*Specialty Care Clinics: Oncology Chemotherapy certification
*Urgent Care: ACLS, PALS
*Pediatric Urgent Care: PALS

Summary:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for nurse visits in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models. Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for telephone triage in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models. Responsible for Medication Refill Management as an agent of the provider using approved nursing protocols. Ensures safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care of patients.
