Education:
Essential:
* High School Diploma or GED

 

Requirements:
Associates Degree or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree is required. Bachelors degree and/or Certified Professional of Healthcare Management (CPHM) preferred. Three to five years experience in a medical or health insurance position. Demonstrated, successful assumption of additional duties including, but not limited to, support of projects, provider education, health information support, report development and interpretation of data, auditing, software testing, and documentation control. Strong computer skills required, including Microsoft Office suite. Must have strong administrative skills in order to provide program support, committees and initiatives. The position also requires a high degree of confidentiality, exercising discretion and effective decision making. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Requires limited direction and minimal direct oversight in the completion of assigned tasks and projects.

Summary:
Provides operational coordination and project management for Quality Assurance activities including, but not limited to, intake, file maintenance, medical records coordination, documentation, research, internal and external written/verbal correspondence, and coordination of Quality Improvement activities/projects. Responsible for report generation and interpretation, development and maintenance of information repositories and metrics, and the ability to anticipate and act on opportunities to support team and solve problems innovatively
