Summary:
Manage and supervise employees for the preparation of financial reporting for the Centennial Care products. Prepare and present, as requested, financial reports for senior management and HSD. Prepare annual budget and forecasts in conjunction with senior leadership and product owners. Provide analytical support relative to financial initiatives for Centennial Care as necessary.

Responsibilities


Maintains relationships with all levels of leadership and staff to coordinate activities, provide necessary education, supply input and feedback, and function as a subject-matter expert for Centennial Care Financial information.
*Coordinates reconciliations and discrepancy resolution with HSD.
*Prepare variance analyses of financial results in support of month end and year end reporting for Centennial Care.
*Coordination of budget, forecasts, and long-range plans for Centennial Care products: includes membership, revenue, medical expense, and direct admin cost assumptions.
*Assists in the completion of ad-hoc analyses including such items as rate review and pricing support, contracting impact analyses, and process improvement initiatives among others.
*Participates in the identification of opportunities for improvement and the preparation of action plans as needed.
*Reviews reconciliations and journal entries for accuracy ensuring the integrity of financial statements.
*Directly responsible for the selection, training, development and evaluation of employees. Performs the day-to-day management of employees to meet departmental goals, creates an environment which fosters employee involvement, growth, satisfaction and ability to function effectively with colleagues.

Qualifications


Other information:
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or relevant field required. Prefer MBA in Business, Accounting, Finance or CPA. Five years of health care finance experience or equivalent work experience, with two years in supervisory capacity preferred.
