Summary

Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (LRRI) is seeking an Equipment and Test Article Technician. This position will be responsible for test article dispense, receipt and storage, in addition to data entry in ELog and Provantis Databases. The Equipment and Test Article Technician will also be responsible for equipment validation, calibration and testing requirements of the Institute, and performing all other related duties and tasks as required or assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a research, commercial or hospital laboratory; or an equivalent combination of education, training and /or experience from with comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.

Must have demonstrated ability to successfully perform a variety of routine laboratory procedures using standard laboratory equipment and instruments or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.

Requires strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Preferred computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Internet Explorer and Outlook.

Preference will be given to those with validation; calibration and test article dispense experience.

A Post-offer background check and the ability to gain and maintain access to Kirtland Air Force base (KAFB) is required.
