EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent

EXPERIENCE
Two years of successful sales and marketing experience, preferably in a health related field.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver' license
Ability to travel with frequent stops in and out of facilities

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for educating the community in Hospice care, state and federal regulations governing home care, services provided and generally the provision of home care. Act as a liaison between the community, physician, client and the agency in providing continuity of client care and delivery of quality client care in the home. Responsible for generating predetermined quota for the Hospice Division.

JOB DUTIES

  • Identify, establish and maintain relationships with community referral sources.
  • Educates potential referral sources on coverage and scope of services for in-home hospice care.
  • Create and provide education materials to community through regular contacts with hospitals, long term care facilities, physician offices, medical clinics, private service target areas etc. Available to answer home care related questions.
  • Coordinate all marketing/advertising in the assigned business unit under the direction of the Director of Operations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contracts.
  • Acts as liaison between client, family, clinical staff and physician to ensure optimum communications and quality client care.
  • Consistently meet and exceed predetermined referral quotas within designated sales territory.
