Job Summary
Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst/Specialist to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.

The successful candidate will be required to qualify as a NQA-1 Lead Auditor and perform assessments. Will be responsible for developing checklists, assessment plans, and assessment reports based on upper tier requirements. Perform QA review of procedure and procurement documents for compliance with the applicable quality program requirements.  Assist in the maintenance and development of the technical, administrative, and programmatic documents related to the implementation of a NQA 1/10CFR830 compliant program. Travel to lead and participate in assessments if needed.  Write clear and organized reports and other documents that effectively communicate ideas, problems, solutions, and status of projects.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a science related field, or 
  • Associates Degree with four (4) years of experience, or 
  • High School Diploma or GED with eight (8) years of relevant experience.
  • Must have strong interface skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with DOE Quality Assurance Programs or commercial nuclear power is preferred.
  • Strong audit/surveillance skills including prior NQA-1 Lead Auditor Certification or American Society for Quality Certification is desired.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills is a plus.
  • Previous WIPP experience is preferred.
