When conducting job searches on Jobing.com you will want to input keywords to help you in sorting through job opportunities. Inputting keywords will help to provide you more targeted search results and will focus your job search on positions that most closely match your skills, background and interests.
For example, if you were interested in a customer service position in which you could utilize your data entry skills you'll want to enter the words "customer service, data entry" in the keyword line.
You may also choose to input more specific keywords which highlight your specific skills. If you have experience in 10-key data entry, you might consider entering "10-key" as your only keyword and select the "Exact Phrase" option. This will return only results which include that exact phrase.
Match Any Word (default)
This is the system default. It will conduct a broad database search for any word you enter in the field. For example "Sales Marketing" will yield results that contain either "sales" or "marketing," not specifically the phrase "sales marketing." This option will yield the largest number of results.
Match All Words
Matching All Words in the keyword field will provide you with a narrower, more targeted search. Entering the same "Sales Marketing" will yield resumes that contain both "sales" and "marketing" in their text. Again, this option may not specifically match the phrase "sales marketing."
Match Exact Phrase
Matching an exact phrase based on the keywords you enter will conduct a very narrow, specific search. For example in this scenario when you enter "Sales Marketing" your results will contain only those resumes which contain this exact phrase. Matching an exact phrase is best when searching for defined skills within an industry. This option will yield fewer, but more specific results. It is recommended that you conduct multiple searches for each phrase in order for your searches to be effective.
