The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Program will consider both part-time and full-time (.50fte to 1.0fte) applicants for this position. This Education & Outreach Manager position will manage the newly funded federal HRSA grant titled, 'ASD Regional Resource Centers in New Mexico'. This project calls for the establishment of linkages throughout New Mexico to the CDD Autism Programs. The successful Education & Outreach Manager will serve as the principal point of liaison for community agencies, local schools, medical practices and others to establish education and community outreach activities. Will assist in development of a plan for sustainability of the ASD-RRCs after federal funding is completed. Position will require some travel.
