Join one of the fastest growing industries in the United States and companies in New Mexico! . A locally owned and operated medical practitioners group is seeking an EXPERIENCED, enthusiastic , capable and knowledgeable individual to fill our front office position.
Essential functions of the positon include: * Triaging phone calls from clients, clinicans, referral sources and vendors , taking accurate information with excellent customer service skills. * Assuring asignments distributed, recommendations followed up ranging from lab results to ordering of adaptive equipment, in timely manner. * Obtaining and documenting accurate , updated client & employee information and processeing as per policy and procedures. * Demonstrate excellent computer and data entry skills . * Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of medical service software, employee payroll and data tracking softwares, in addition to excel, outlook, e-mail and word. * Using discretion and independent judgment in appropriate processing of clients, clinicians, regulatory body and agency questions and concerns. * Documenting and forwarding any complaints received to appropriate administrative staff. Skills / Requirements
* Ability to pass a typing test , obtain a criminal background clearance, work legally in the United States.
* High School Diploma or GED required. * Advanced training, certification in field preferred. * One year of related experience in busy medical practice office/clinic environment required. * Skill and ability to read and understand basic medical terminology. * Skill and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, communicate effectively in English. Ability to speak and understand multiple languages a plus. * Skill and ability to create medical charts, dial and speak on phone. * Proficent in basic computer use : Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel. * Ability to learn related software products quickly and accurately. * Professional appearance and excellent customer service a must.
