Position Summary
The University of New Mexico Department of Neurology is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, personable team player who will be the first point of contact for the department. The successful candidate will work the front desk 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position requires multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize duties. Duties include but are not limited to answering multi-line telephone, greeting and directing visitors, providing administrative assistance to faculty, purchasing and distributing general office supplies, processing travel reimbursements, distributing and maintaining pagers, maintaining multiple databases, operating and maintaining office equipment, sorting in-coming and out-going mail, scheduling DHL pickups and making payments. Bilingual a must.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Experience with:

Customer service

Working in a hospital setting

Proficient in:

MS Office software

Bilingual English/Spanish
