Growing base area manufacturer seeking an experience Quality Control Supervisor! Duties include: Plans, coordinates, and manages the mechanical (length) inspections (first article and final acceptance) to ensure that the production of products in the Machine Shop is consistent with established standards. Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product. Manages the development and implementation of inspection procedures. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, and disciplinary actions. Oversees the inspection of the finished product to determine if the product specifications are met. Support the machine shop to optimize the production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. Manages workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over finished products. Investigates and handle customer inquiries regarding inspection results. Monitors the corrective actions where necessary and develop quality control processes and guidelines. Works closely with the Quality Assurance Manager, Machine Shop Supervisor and Z Project Manager. Supervises the Quality Control Inspectors (mechanical).

Must have Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with QC experience, 5 years in a QC supervisory or management position with experience developing standards.

Must have knowledge of ISO 9001 2000, AS9100 processes, 9900000 standard, ASME-ASQ standards and GD & T standards. Experience with programming and analysis of CMM machines and Vision Measuring System. Experience working with machinist, calipers, micrometers, and fabrication. Certified Metrologist desirable.


Salary: Depending on Experience and Qualifications.
