Responsibilities:
The Senior Accounting Analyst will support the Accounts Payable Shared Services function with analysis, G/L account reconciliations, discrepancy resolution and activity/metric reporting. Primary focus will be the administration of the Corporate Travel Credit Card (CTCC) program and reconciliation of employee receivable accounts. This position may also provide leadership to less experienced personnel. Specific responsibilities include exception report analysis; audit and reconciliation of ER (expense report) and credit card statement activity against General Ledger transactions and balances; create, monitor and issues report; and A/P transaction processing support. May initiate accounting adjustment\corrections within the accounting system. Candidate must be able to communicate in a professional and courteous manner, both verbally and in writing, with Executives, Managers, employees and customers at all levels of the organization; relaying information accurately and promptly and enabling the resolution of issues in a timely manner. Will work with related departments within the QinetiQ Financial Shared Services (QFSS) group to provide high quality customer service to Operating Groups as needed.

Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar field and a minimum of 8 years experience in accounting. Strong customer service skills. Solid analytical skills including advance skills in the use of MS Excel in the development of intricate spreadsheets and report writing experience. Preferred:Accounting experience with a government contractor, experience with Deltek Costpoint, and/or experience with administration of Corporate credit card programs Candidates will be subject to a Background Investigation. US citizenship is required.
