Jobing Description
As a Bilingual Customer Representative you will process calls for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. You will type everything heard and read everything typed. Our Customer Representatives maintain absolute confidentiality according to FCC guidelines and treat all customers and staff with courtesy and respect at all times. If you are seeking an easy, but gratifying position, this may be the job for you!


Skills / Requirements
Initial typing speed of 55 words per minute with at least 90% accuracy; sufficient hearing to allow effective telephone communication; experience in telecommunications, computers, or TRS is desirable; knowledge of Deaf Culture or disability related fields desirable. Must have a high school doploma or equivalent. Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly encouraged to apply. A pay differential is offered to bilingual employees. Must have at least one year of past employment history.

Important Notes
Applications are accepted between 9:00am and 4:00pm Monday – Thursday. You are asked to apply in person in order to have your typing skills assessed. Upon meeting typing requirements, your application will be forwarded to Human Resources and considered for an opportunity to interview. Our next training class starts January 4, 2010. Hurry in!
