Job: Physical Therapist /Physical Therapist Assistant

LMATA Government Services, LLC a small business in government contracting is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist /Physical Therapist Assistant to work full-time in support of a long-term contract.

The Physical Therapist /Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will be able to perform basic treatment modalities usually associated with an orthopedic physical therapy outpatient clinic. Basic knowledge application of treatment requirements such as patient positioning, modality application, general exercise precautions and treatment documentation are required. Additionally, the PT/PTA will also be expected to perform Medical Massage Therapy as a licensed massage therapist, computerized data entry, patient scheduling, delayed motor latency (DML) testing, ergonomic chair fittings and other clinical tasks related to the delivery and maintenance of a clean, safe treatment environment.

A current New Mexico license and membership in the American Physical Therapy Association are required. A current New Mexico license for massage therapy is strongly preferred. The ability to communicate effectively with members of a multidisciplinary team is essential.
