Job: Physician Assistant

Physician assistant wanted full-time for a state-of-the art Orthopaedic practice in Albuquerque, NM to assist a total joint replacement surgery ½ time and in clinic ½ time.
Two years surgical experience preferred.

Duties: Works under the supervision of physician in a clinical setting, providing acute and chronic patient care; assists at surgery, in pre- and post-operative care, wound care & suturing; prescribes medications, interprets test results and x-rays; educates patients and families.

Requirements: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program - BA/BS; current New Mexico license preferred; NCCPA certified or eligible. Excellent communication and computer skills; self-starter with ability to work ~50 hours/week; team player, dependable, organized; professional demeanor and strong work ethic. Must undergo background check and tox screen. Please provide references.
