GENERAL SUMMARY
Conduct independent research activities under the guidance of the Primary Investigator for the principal purpose of developing the individual’s research skills for his/her primary benefit. Postdoctoral fellow will collaborate with research scientist on project(s) related to the development of teaching materials and/or assessment research. Opportunities that include participation in large scale grant-supported research activities, and dissemination of activities that translate research into applied formats and outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Conduct independent research
• Design and evaluate experiments
• Develop new ideas that promote current research
• Experience in quantitative data analysis and skills
• Prepare and publish scientific manuscripts under the supervision of the PI
• Attend seminars
• Ability to read and interpret best practices and research practices for service and program evaluation
• Work collaboratively with staff of various disciplines and with partner agencies
• Write accurate and comprehensive assessments and reports with clarity and precision
• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with other agencies

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Required:
- Ph.D in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field
- 2 years experience in the field
- Matlab and programming experience
- Knowledge of statistical modeling
