Job: Assistant Controller

We are currently searching for an Assistant Controller to join a progressive & innovative organization. This individual will be responsible for managing the accounting department. Other responsibilities will include the preparation of financial statements, documentation and review of internal controls. Other duties will include annual financial statement audit and interface with various internal and external auditors. Additional responsibilities will include the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations, expense analysis and other management reporting. This individual will also support the development of improved financial performance measurement processes and metrics.

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
•Five or more years managing an accounting department with demonstrated systems process improvement and financial reporting
•Government contract experience and a solid working knowledge of GAAP, FAR and CAS.
•CPA or CMA designation preferred
•Deltek Costpoint experience preferred
