Job: Personal Investment Officer

Function: Provides financial advice and counseling to clients and prospects. Sells of mutual funds, government, municipal and corporate bonds, and fixed and variable annuities.

Duties:

1. Prospects clients utilizing branch-generated leads, cold calling, seminars, direct mail and existing client referrals.

2. Coordinates sales activities with branch Personal Banking Officers. Coaches and counsels Personal Banking Officers on the technical aspects of financial products and services.

3. Sells financial products and services to clients who are referred from the Personal Banking Officer.

4. Keeps abreast of new/proposed issues and other factors impacting the financial markets.

5. Maintains frequent communication with traders and other investment dealers to obtain markets for customer transactions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and a minimum of five year's securities sales experience. NASD Series 7 and 63 and state life and health licenses.
