Shift: Days

* Serves as the receptionist for Colfax General LTC facility and the Hospital District. Answers all incoming calls, taking and relaying messages. Will serve as a primary secretary for Nursing, Lab, and Social Services.

* Responsible for copying and faxing for all departments.

* Responsible for all out-going mail.

* Responsible for all month end procedures. Sending all necessary information to the controller in Albuquerque

* Completes data entry on patient billing system, Vista Keane, which includes daily lab charges, payments, and deposits for all commercial insurance.

* Works and reviews all accounts receivable in specific area of responsibility every 30 days

* . Responsible for the safe and correct storage of all data related to the Business Office.

* Responsible for the Resident Trust Account and quarterly statements

* Collects, identifies and processes laboratory specimens as appropriate. Performs results reporting, distribution, and billing functions. Performs clerical lab duties as required. Cleans and maintains out-patient technical areas as designated.

* Performs other duties as required

High School Diploma ( GED). Two years experience in hospital related secretarial experience.
