Our ideal candidate will have successful experience in cultivating business-to-business relationships and increasing market share through direct customer interaction. Experience in healthcare sales or marketing is preferred, and knowledge of the New Mexico area is important. Candidates must be thoroughly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and possess outstanding customer service skills, including excellent written, verbal and creative communications abilities. Overnight travel required. A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years of experience in provider relations, marketing, or sales is required. Responsibilities and Accountabilities 1. Responsible for sales to hospitals, health plans, physician practices, and other healthcare providers, and the general business community. Follows through on customer contacts to ensure that the appropriate documentation and contracts are received. 2. Assists with development and implementation of effective sales strategies plans for various programs and services. 3. Assists with the research of new programs and new business markets to ensure continued growth of the organization. 4. Makes technical and high level marketing presentations to hospitals, health plans, physician practices and other healthcare providers, and the general business community. 5. Maintains regular communications with current and prospective customers regarding the status of customer service needs and issues, and other activities. 6. Identifies new prospects, establishes new contacts, and oversees the development of proposals for various departments. 7. Assists with the development of marketing materials, brochures and other collateral materials for various programs. 8. Actively supports and participates in companywide performance excellence programs and initiatives. 9. Provides sales and marketing assistance to endorsed vendors.. 10. Performs other duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager. Skills / Requirements
