Job: Business System Analyst

An exciting opportunity for a motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented business systems analyst with the ability to assist with routine software maintenance and enhancements to our www.HealthXnet.com system. The successful candidate must demonstrate the skills necessary to perform requirements analysis, develop functional specifications, and perform quality assurance testing, along with project management. The ideal candidate would also be skilled in software user interface design. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are a must. In-depth knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle a major plus. Bachelors of Science degree preferred.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Assist with routine modifications and enhancements to the HealthXnet software system. Activities will include, but not limited to:
a. Research and Requirements analysis
b. Developing functional specifications and use case models.
c. GUI design
d. Quality assurance testing
e. Assist with release implementations
f. Tracking and documentation of software changes
g. Prioritization and coordination of software development activities

2. Develop an in-depth understanding of our customers’ needs and expectations in order to help develop new HealthXnet features and services.

3. Provide level three support to customers and backup to customer support and operations staff.

4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are a must. In-depth knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle a major plus. Bachelors of Science degree preferred.
