Job: Electronic Test Technician

The Level 3 Electronic Technician reports directly to a Production IPT Lead and takes work direction from both the Production IPT Lead and the Work Cell Team Leader. Responsibilities of the Level 3 Electronic Technician will include: Adhere to all safety practices established for the site, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Adhere to strict tooling and FOD control procedures. Adhere to Technician standardized work. Work from schematics, diagrams, work instructions, prints, and test specifications to test, evaluate, inspect and troubleshoot products. Ensure the quality and accuracy of the Products under test, Test equipment calibration requirements, and Documentation requirements. Understanding and application of requirements for calibration and acceptance testing of final assembly products. Functional testing of subassemblies. Testing and trouble shoot of complex electrical and electromechanical assemblies.


Analysis of test failures and trouble-shooting of products to component level using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and various other diagnostic equipment. Managing aging work in progress (WIP). Involving engineering support as required for problem resolution. Timely disposition of non-functional assemblies as determined by the Team Improvement Board (TIBs) standardized work. Mechanical Assembly, utilizing hand tools.
