Requisition Number: 28543 Location: NM - Albuquerque Type of Opportunity: Regular Full-Time FLSA Classification: Exempt Minimum Experience: 3 years Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree Shift: Days Coordinate and manage clinic service activities and staff to achieve continuous and optimal patient care. Schedules, assigns and supervises the work of the clerical & clinical staff. Acts as a resource person to staff in the department. Essential Responsibilities Core Metrics/ Outcomes Position is Held Accountable For: Activities Managed or Delivered That Are Associated With Core Metrics/ Outcomes: % of Time Clinical Outcomes (Core measure: Clinical Outcome Measures, Patient Safety) * Coordinate diagnostic and treatment activities of the clinic/department with services of other departments to ensure effective patient care and efficient service. * Maintain liaison with professional medical staff and other personnel in administrating policies and procedures regarding patient flow and utilization of space, time, supplies, and equipment. Develop policies and procedures to improve patient care and utilization of clinic resources. * Supervise and coordinate activities of a clinic/department to include establishing and maintaining systems for patient flow through the clinic/department and the utilization of clinic and ancillary facilities and manpower. Standard Work * Integrate action plans into daily operations & execute action plans * Achieve and sustain required results * Resolve in the moment issues * Ensure clinical bundles are used effectively * Observe for and resolve patient safety issues * Own and support continuous improvement activities * Empower staff to generate ideas to solve OFIs Customer Loyalty (Core measure: Patient Satisfaction Scores) * Greets and provides assistance to visitors and patients. Explains policies and procedures, and resolves problems. Gathers necessary documentation to support proper handling of inquiries/complaints. * Teaches and leads CQI and customer service processes. Involves the physicians and staff in improving daily operations of the program. Standard Work * Integrate action plans into daily operations & execute action plans * Achieve and sustain required results * Execute daily staffing within FTE budget * Hire within FTE budget * Manage temporary labor * Orient new staff * Ensure competency of staff & address gaps (incl primary source) * Engage workforce * Recognize and celebrate * Provide feedback to performance * Performance management and corrective action * Integrate employee satisfaction action plans into operations and execute action plans * Achieve and sustain required results for employee satisfaction * Manage physician interactions * Ensure Employee Retention Bundle is utilized effectively * Ensure Hire Right Bundle is utilized effectively * Foster communications among staff and among departments * Resolve in the moment issues * Ensure Customer Loyalty Bundle is utilized effectively * Review and share customer satisfaction results * Resolve in the moment issues * Own and support continuous improvement activities * Empower staff to generate ideas and share OFIs Staff Focus (Core Measures: Retention & Employee Engagement) * Provides leadership and supervision of clinical team to further the vision, values and strategies of PMG. * Integrate new staff from MSO into the clinic operations including any site specific training * Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performance and initiates/makes recommendations for personnel actions. Current NM Nursing License
