Minimum Experience: 2 years

Minimum Education: Masters Degree

Shift: 12 Hour Days

* Performs history and physical assessments.

* Performs minor surgical procedures.

* Performs health maintenance activities.

* Administers preventative health care methods.

* Interprets lab and x-ray results.

* Serves as a patient educator.

* Serves 'on-call ' responsibilities'.

* Performs nursing home visits.

* Performs possible in-patient health care.

* Performs other functions as required.

Master's degree in nursing. Graduation from a program for physician assistants approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) of the American Medical Association, and possess a baccalaureate degree or two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant. One to three years experience in primary care.
