Job: Slot Floor Attendant

Responsible for providing a high degree of courteous service to guests, prompt change, attending to jackpots. Accurately provides minor machine repair service.

Major Responsibilities/Activities
• Standing and maneuvering in confined area, acknowledging, greeting and conversing with customers.
• Creating a warm and friendly atmosphere by observing guests and demonstrating positive, friendly, and courteous service; offering assistance, instruction, and advice on various types of electronic slot machines
• Providing courteous and prompt change, and attends to jackpots. Providing minor machine repair service accurately and with a high degree of customer service.
• Observing all activity within assigned area; offering assistance and advice to slot players on machine functions and payouts.
• Exchanging coupons and currency for guests by using an impressed fund that requires access to the cashier's cage and master coin bank.
• Adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner, including those pertaining to federal and regulatory laws and guidelines
• Coordinating with casino operations, supervisors, and security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat or damage gaming equipment and to identify floor irregularities to a casino operations supervisor; leading shift supervisor, or casino manager; identifying jackpot transactions--processing and completing them promptly, accurately, and with a high degree of service
• Being aware of the various types of slot cheating methods and recognizing any potential attempts while monitoring assigned section
• Being well versed on various property events and relaying information to guests in assigned area
• Being capable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibiting the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of supervisory personnel
• Being able to handle and secure keys within department.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
