Job: Lead Material Handler

Roses South West Papers, Inc., is seeking a Material Handling Lead. Position reports to the Division Manager. Successful candidate should have 5-7 years recent experience operating sit-down electric or propane powered forklifts and/or stand-up ride-on pallet jacks.
Must be able to operate or trained to operate units with paper-roll clamp, slip loader, box clamp and side shift attachments.

The position routinely processes Payroll Timesheets, Tracks the transfer of raw material to production floor by entering data into an automated tracking system and is responsible for Training new employees. This position Supervises 3 hourly employees so it is important to enforce company policies/procedures, perform reviews and be involved in the discipline and reward of employees

The successful candidate will be able to work a Flexible schedule

Mathematical skills and reading comprehension are required. Must have good communication skills both oral and written. Prior Forklift Certification needed. Successful candidate must have understanding of inventory control methods. Computer experience (Microsoft excel, word and outlook) a plus. Shifts may be M-F 8 hour or rotating M-Sun 11.5 hour. Candidate must pass forklift certification test. Our employees are reliable and timely.
