Job: Unit Director, Operating Room

Direct and coordinate the clinical and management activities of operating room RNs, OR Techs, OR Educator and Surgical Supply Tech to provide quality patient care. Actively support programs and services that are in line with long-range strategic objectives. Support education and research in conjunction with Unit Medical Director. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing or completion within eighteen (18) months of hire; or Bachelor's Degree in related discipline with current enrollment in Master's of Science in Nursing program


Experience Requirements:
2 years management experience


Licensure/Certification Requirements:
CPR Certification or must obtain within 30 calendar days of date of position


Education Requirements - Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing or Master's of Science in Nursing


Experience Requirements - Preferred:
3 years specialty field
