Job: Test/Design Engineer - E3, EMI/EMC

Manpower Professional is currently recruiting for a Test/Design Engineer. This is a contract opportunity that is located in Albuquerque, NM and is expected to last up to 12 months.

In this Test/Design Engineer position, you will have the opportunity to:
* Apply knowledge and experience in Large Systems design, development, integration, troubleshooting and test - related technologies; including commercial wireless communication technologies; processing platforms; data bus architectures; and wireless architectures, protocols and security.
* Responsible for assessing existing system design capabilities, and apply new technology or creative applications of existing technologies to satisfy customer weight, size, power and related critical parameters and requirements.

Qualifications for the Test/Design Engineer position include:
* 6 years experience in the field or in a related area.
* Bachelor's Degree
* EMC / E3 Design experience, writing EMC Control plans. Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 for EMI testing and troubleshooting.
* Extensive HW design background, including: High-speed digital circuit and communications design, environmental Qualification, Design concepts for EMI and compatibility, Integration of UHF, L-band, S-band radios transmitting and receiving EMI/EMC design and troubleshooting in megahertz and gigahertz ranges. Specialty materials for EMI/EMC vehicle shielding (faraday enclosures) and construction. GPS design consideration -susceptibility. RF UHF/L Band/S Band radios transmission and reception integration, jamming, compatibility and interference design and troubleshooting of video and digital data. Innovative design solutions for cost, volume, weight. Wire, cable, signal routing, interconnects for EMI/EMC.
* Experience with fielding distributed systems and troubleshooting/integration in the customer or remote environments may be part of the job. Travel to customer meetings and leading technical proposal teams of diverse technical expertise is required.
