Job: Dental Assistant (0803632)

Position Summary
The Dental Assistant position provides a range of clinical, administrative, and staff support to a full-range dental services operation at our Carrie Tingley Clinic for patients with special needs, and also with our resident program at our NE Heights Clinic. Assists in the performance of dental and radiography procedures; prepares and maintains dental equipment and supplies in accordance with established protocol, procedures, policies, and standards, and assists in the coordination of day-to-day patient administration, records management, and office support activities. The preferred candidate will be trained to perform dental assisting duties in an operating room setting.

There are three (3) positions available.

These are full time positions with benefits eligible.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and successful completion of a Dental Assistant program from an accredited institution.

OR

High school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of directly related experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed in the job description.


Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English/Spanish

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

Experience in:

Taking dental radiographs

Experience working with:

Patients with special needs
