The Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau, a private not-for-profit sales organization, seeks an experienced sales leader. Will lead the Convention Sales/Sports Marketing and Services Division of the ACVB, with sales goal & divisional budget accountability. Serves as a member of the Senior Staff team, providing support to the President/CEO by assisting in the formulation and administration of organization policy. Oversees 17 staff.
Skills / Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a minimum 10 years hospitality industry management experience, preferably in the hotel or CVB disciplines. Demonstrated success in senior sales leadership required. Bachelor’s degree in a hospitality industry or related field is preferred. Equivalent combination of industry experience, education & training may be considered. Willingness to work irregular hours and travel out of town to trade shows & networking meetings required.
