Position Summary
The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a motivated individual to perform a wide range of staff and/or operational support activities for the Nephrology division faculty. This position will accept, screen and route telephone calls; provide clerical, word processing and staff support to the division; and establish, maintain, process, and update files, records, and/or documents. In addition, this position will help to resolve routine problems and answer inquiries concerning division activities, perform routine bookkeeping functions, and assist with purchasing supplies and/or equipment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to establish priorities, work on several projects concurrently, and follow through, are the key skills necessary for success in this position.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.


Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and knowledge of basic accounting principles

Experience with/in:

Organizing, coordinating and assisting with daily academic office activities
