Job: Patient Accounting Supervisor - AO

Eye Associates of New Mexico is the largest ophthalmology and optometry practice in the Southwest. We are seeking a Patient Accounting Supervisor to manage and provide assistance to staff to ensure accounts/claims are properly managed for the highest allowable reimbursement, investigate and resolve A/R issues, participate in hiring/performance management/disciplinary actions, and train staff to effectively use the billing system. Primary focus will be on government insurance products (Medicare, Medicaid, PHS, Tricare, etc.). We prefer a Certified Professional Coder with 3 or more years experience in patient accounting, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, and supervisory experience. Microsoft Office Suite experience and a strong team orientation are required.
