Senior Clinical Content Coordinator
Requisition Number: 28992 Location: NM - Albuquerque Type of Opportunity: Regular Full-Time FLSA Classification: N/A Minimum Experience: 3 years Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree Shift: Days * Develops order sets, patient care protocols, and other tools to aid in standardization and use of evidence based medicine by medical staff members at the point of care * Use evidence based resources for content development * Obtain evidence based information and create a bibliography for evidence based resources related to clinical content * Structure clinical content for translation into clinical information systems * Consider patient transitions (such as: discharge home--what needs to be in order entry system) * Coordinate clinical content development and revision cycles with multidisciplinary clinical representatives through final approval and publication * Manage clinical content library to ensure accurate versioning * Manage clinical content life cycle. * Responsible for communications and coordination of process that leads from clinical content development to putting into production * Uses project management tools and techniques to develop work-plans, tasks, timelines, and measurements for all project assignments. Project plans will be developed for all projects and milestones monitored and reported. * Demonstrates, and applies Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles and tools. * Promotes PHS system-wide strategies and compliance with PHS policies and standards, adopted accreditation standards and federal/state health insurance regulatory requirements. * Serves as a link throughout the enterprise as a whole, to optimize the success of clinical information system activities using input and resources from all business units and at the same time ensuring appropriate use of resources without duplication. * Uses Microsoft Project and related office applications and Visio in support of all above activities. * Arrange meetings and formulate agendas related to clinical content development and management * Attend meetings as required * Performs other functions as required. Skills / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. Three-five years experience in clinical nursing or relatd field required with one year quality and/or IT experience preferred. Requires knowledge of clinical information system and CPOE. Also must have knowledge of processes for obtaining evidence based information to support clinical content development. Basic computer skills are required.
